Children's shoes in Bournemouth

We are down in Westbourne next week and I've promised the DDs we'll go shoe shopping. Can anyone recommend a good independent shoe shop in the area? Or are Russell and Bromley my best bet?

If anyone's interested, I found a lovely new shop called Life and Sole on Seamoor Rd in Westbourne (up near Cafe Rouge). They had a small range of clothes and accessories too.

There use to be a fab children's shoe shop in Southbourne but it's long gone now :( Matthews in Christchurch is good for Clarkes, etc..

I used to go clothes and shoe shopping for DS2 in Bath but he's too big for children's shoes now.
