In a thread, the idea of a place to go when you need responses from a Scotland specific view, on education, the NHS and such came up. Local forums like this are often too small and inactive to generate much advice in a tumely manner, but posts in topic specific forums can be overwhelmed with well intentioned but unhelpful responses from down south.
