Nice areas to live in Wakefield

Hi mums,

I am looking to move to the Wakefield area for work, and wondered if you could help advise me on nice areas to live with children, with good schools etc?

I have read about crofton and that seems to get good reviews, and I can get a good house for my 200k budget! What are your thought please?

I think Walton is the nicest area but house prices are a bit higher. New Miller dam is nice but expensive. There's also Sandal and Horbury. Horbury is popular with young families. I probably wouldn't consider other areas really.

Outwood and Stanley are very popular.
