Finding babysitter

Hiya I'm trying to find a regular babysitter for my son whilst I'm at work but I don't even know where to start!! Any advice would be greatly received!

I don't have any experience but I guess you need to start with what hours you need, whether you want the childcare to be in your home or elsewhere, whether you want him looked after one to one or alongside other children, and what sort of person you are looking for. Maybe people will be able to give better advice then?
