Moving to Horsham from Australia

Hi,
We are moving back to UK next year from Australia with two boys eldest will be starting secondary and youngest junior school although we are not back until july and am getting concerned about whether they can start school in September when we will have no address to put down before then. I hear tanbridge house/forest school great and herons way/colgate, any advice? Also any info on catchment areas so we can plot where we will rent a property please. We are visiting in July and thought to talk to schools then, will we be faced with homeschooling until a place comes up for them worst case scenario? We thought applying through our London Borough council where we have a house would help? I thought it would be easier getting a place outside of London so any insight greatly appreciated....thank you!

Hi - You will need to contact the local council to get the exact catchment areas as they can change literally by road to road yearly. I will post a tweet out for you and on Facebook to see if any of our families in horsham can help. If you apply through your london house then you would get a school in london, thats not ideal if moving to horsham.. Call the local education authority here and ask them what happens in these situations, don't forget that people are moving all the time and spaces often come up at the last minute. good luck and i will be in touch if i can find out any further info for you.
