Swishing!

Ok, first ever thread but i'm reaching out to Bedfordshire Mums as I would like to know if a charity swishing event would be welcome in the area. In a nutshell you bring up to 7 unwanted items (clothes,acc's etc) to the event and these are graded for fair swapping. The entry price would be £3 and all profit goes to Bedford Foodbank. Swishing is big in London but everyone I mention it to has no idea what I'm banging on about! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated x

Hey. I've hosted Swishing events in the past at the church I attend. There was definite interest there and I think if you advertise it wide enough you'll get enough people - especially to Mum groups who might be trying to stretch their money that bit farther. Love the idea of the donations to the Foodbank. We gave donations from our last one to The Fountain community cafe in the Bus Station
