Community Defibrillator

Harrogate Training Services are a local training company in Harrogate town centre. We are thinking of ideas to raise funds for a community defibrillator - this is to be located outside at the front of our building.

This is a new initiative for us, and we need to raise £2000 to fund the defibrillator and external cabinet (any excess monies will be donated to the Yorkshire Ambulance). We have thought of a raffle with a range of prizes.

We would love any suggestions of companies we could approach for raffle prizes or any other fund raising ideas anyone may have.

Thank you so much, that would be fantastic. Just to get as many people involved and gain as many ideas as possible! We think the community defibrillators are a great idea - when someone calls for an ambulance, they will be directed that we have a defib (which will be outside the building so they can access at any time!). It would be lovely to raise the money to get one for our building and any excess money to go directly to the Ambulance Service to help them to provide more.
