You may already know that Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts is no longer moving in, as previously planned. The Hornsey Town Hall Arts Centre (www.hthartscentre.co.uk/) has been given the building for a year, and is already a vibrant community hub, but after that it appears the building is up for grabs. One option apparently being discussed is to turn it into flats.

What happened to it becoming the lively hub of our community.

I thought this had all been sorted. I didn't realise it was just a yearly lease. My DD is just about to start Glee Club there on Saturdays. I was looking forward to finally supporting the building by making use of it.

Events, workshops, classes, shows - used by all the community and local schools - that's how it should be used. Looks like I'll be heading to the meeting!
