Hi all !!

We are a mixed race couple from France and we are currently living in London but my husband's work is asking him to work on a project in Worcestershire I think we have no option but to accept this offer. I have a 4 months old baby girl and I am totally panicking about the idea to leave London.

My husband's work in Worcestershire will be near brodway high street the postocode given to us is WR12 7AA. I have checked on the Internet and it seems that it's a village and there's almost nothing around. I would like to know what are the best areas to live nearby.

I want an area with shops, restaurants hospitals, good gp surgeries and if possible without councils. I will be alone all day so I need to have everything nearby. My husband is fine to drive 20-25 min to go to work.
If anyone could give me some names of nice areas I would be very grateful! !! Smile Many thanks!!!

I think I would probably have a look around the Cheltenham area - lots of lovely shops :), hospital etc. Sorry, I can't really say much more than that because I live nearer Pershore (which is a lot smaller, but lovely). Perhaps you could ask in the "Chat" area in the main MN section bound to get a lot more answers.

I agree that Cheltenham would be your best bet. Lots of restaurants, shops, hospitals, schools etc. I bet there would be lots of toddler groups too. Do you drive?

I like Broadway myself. very pretty little town. go and have a look before you discount it - thousands of americans cant be wrong!

Broadway is very def a village - Stratford or Cheltenham are the nearest large towns (I live near DamsonDream) with Cheltenham probably being my preference.
