Where to move in Barnet for schools?

I'm hoping some of you lovely mums could help please. We have a baby girl and are looking to buy house somewhere in North or East London, probably Barnet way or nearby. Our budget for a three-bedder is £700k.

Where would you buy to be in a nice area with a great primary school and perhaps secondary schools? I understand things could change in that time, but as we need to buy a house anyway and are flexible, I still think we might as well pick somewhere with good schools currently.

Current ideas are Foulds catchment in High Barnet, or in Monkfrith and Ashmole catchment near Southgate. Open to other areas of North/East Lon if you've any bright ideas!

Huge thanks for your help

Hi PrincessOrElsa, I hope someone comes along to answer your question soon!

I live in Barnet borough, at the top of Muswell Hill, and this is a great area for schools (although living further towards the centre of MH is best because you get even more choice of both primary and secondary schools, but that area falls into Haringey borough). East Finchley is also great!

I obviously know a few people that live a bit further north into Barnet borough and will ask them to post here for you.

Speak soon
