Deepings/stamford relocation

Hello, my husband and I are looking to move around the Stamford/deepings area at the recommendation of friends. However, can anyone pass opionion on what the Deepings are like ? We are looking for a town or village that must have a cafe culture vibe, any suggestions ? We work in Lincolnshire but want to live in the lincs/camb area. Thanks x

Hi Claire, I live in Deeping St James. I have been here since 2004 and love it. I have 4 children and couldn't think of anywhere nicer to bring them up. The Deepings are all very lovely, we have good schools (Primary and higher), a fantastic Childrens Centre and good GPs. There are a number of really nice cafes, a wine bar, lovely bars, beauty salons, gym, restaurants and two of the best chip shops ever! You're probably best to come and spend a day wandering around over a weekend and see for yourself but I doubt you would be disappointed. Stamford is equally as nice but perhaps just a little more pricey. Hope this helps :)
