Secondary School offers - did you get your first choice?

The EDP reported yesterday that the proportion of Norfolk children gaining a place at their first-choice high school has hit a five-year low.

Mumsnet Norfolk is interested to know - how did it go for you, did you get what you wanted? If not - what now?

Yes DS got into Aylsham, so did everyone else we know who wanted to even ppl out of catchment & with no sibling or special circumstances. Not one of the over-subbed schools, I guess!
