Hi there, It's a very tired mum here, who's not baby anymore but nearly 3 year old daughter still doesn't sleep through the night. She was always bad as a baby, and still up sometimes for hours as a toddler. For the past 6 months every time she woke up we took her in bed with us as we were desperate for some sleep. Recently we took her cot sides down as she didn't want them anymore, and bought all new bedding which she choose, made a big thing about big girls bed and decided we were gonna try and keep her in her bed. Well, unfortunately she is up every night and wants to come in our bed or wants me to go in her bed, or sit next to her holding her hand, sometimes I lie down on the floor next to her bed till she falls asleep, once both of us were on the floor with a pillow and a blanket and that was the moment i thought to myself, this isn't right, this has to stop. Occasionally she says she is scared of monsters and dragons and I wonder if that's what the problem or is it something else? Someone told me about Craniology Therapy, I think it's a sort of osteopath treatment on the head, like a head massage, in order to relies tension. Does any of you know any good one in the area? I'm in Luton. What are your thoughts/experiences?? Me and my partner are desperate for some quality sleep but we don't want to use any drastic method to get our beloved daughter to sleep through the night. Thanks in advance for any kind of information.

Have you talked to your health visitor about her sleep issues?
