Moving to Armitage school help needed

Hi we are relocating from London to Armitage over the summer and need to start looking for a school for our 2 children.
Our local ones would be Croft Primary and Henry Chadwick. Does anyone have a child at either of these? Opinion please, thank you.

I used to live in london and I now live back in staffordshire, although its a bit of a way from Armitage - but I could be moving in that direction. I teach too and whilst I do not know these schools I have been around schools nationally and seen a lot of variation. I would have a look at their websites and also visit the schools for a quick look, I think you will get a feel for it that way regarding atmosphere and kids etc look at playtime too and see what happens then. Hopefully the school wont mind a prospective parent visit! xx

Thank you. I have called up and arranged to go and look at them in a few weeks. The problem we will have is if there are no spaces as it will be in year applications. I'm not sure on the other schools in the area.
