John Lewis of Hungerford based in England, (they used to have a sales room in Edinburgh) said they could supply our kitchen in Edinburgh. We bought ours from the Harrogate show room (who deal with all Northern customers) and we had awful customer service and communications straight after we had paid the commissioning deposit. Hidden costs in the invoice and a cabinet that jumped up £1000 from one invoice to the next without explanation. Then when the fitters arrived 3 cabinets were missing, 4 were damaged and we've not been informed as to when we'll get replacements. We used the JLH fitters to get the maximum warranty but they put in broken electrical sockets, hung someone else's cabinet (totally different style from the rest of the cabinetry) and brought fleas into my house. The part of the kitchen that is complete is lush and I'm thrilled with the work table, despite that I would not use them again as this has been a very stressful experience. A lot of the problems were exacerbated because they weren't based in Scotland - best to go local!
