Hi

Husband is in process of buying a business which means moving to Norfolk. Business is a few miles from Norwich. Where would people recommend to start looking? We need good primaries (ds is going to have to change schools) and pre school. 3 bed houses to rent.

Hi there MsMarple12; good luck moving to Norfolk!

We will put a call out to our twitter followers to see if anyone can offer you any advice. Do also have a look further down our Talk threads, there are quite a few other similar questions from others also moving to Norfolk.

Best of luck from Mumsnet Norfolk!

Where is the business?

Do you have a definition of what means 'good school' to you? What kind of lifestyle do you have? Do you drive? What rent can you afford and what would you want as minimum for that (off street parking? etc)?

Thanks for the replies.

Driving is the tricky one - i am starting lessons but not yet.
A good school is inclusive, communicative and supportive.
Rent atm is £1100 in London and we manage but living a non frills one. Not really a social life.
As a min i would like to get off the social estate (don't shoot me i grew up on one but i want better) have three beds and a garden.
The business is 6 miles north of Norwich.

Is the business quite close to the A140? Or what is the nearest main road, anyway.

I can highly recommend a driving instructor for when you start learning. He managed to get me to pass first time so he's good
