Hi everyone
Myself, DH and 2 children (5 and 7) are moving to Notts in a couple of months and any advice on areas and good primary schools would be really appreciated.

We have looked briefly around Radcliffe on Trent, Bingham and surrounding areas and think we will likely try and settle south or east of Nottingham.

My main concern is getting the children settled in school so would particularly appreciate any tips on good schools and possibilities of getting in them too.

thanks so much to anyone who replies in advance
Helen

Hi Helen,

Limited knowledge but, in southern Nottingham, the schools in West Bridgford are all good, primaries and the two secondaries. All quite full as well though, so not sure how easy it would be to get them both into the same school. It's a nice place, it's own small town but on the edge of the city, so no need to drive everywhere.

Radcliffe's nice but I think the secondary used not to be great. (It may have been taken over by new management, or that could have been Bingham, um, worth checking).

Hope someone more knowledgeable is along in a moment!
