A crowd fund appeal has been launched by a group of local parents to raise funds to upgrade the playground on Wanstead High Street. Wanstead Playground Association's campaign has received a huge amount of local support and has already received donations from local businesses and community groups. Fund raising events include a Frozen Singalong on 7th March from 10-12.00 at the Duke, and Wanstead Comedy Club will be hosting a special event on 27th March at Wanstead Golf Club with Brett Goldstein (Superbob, Derek) headlining. Expect to see Keatons boards going up around Wanstead and South Woodford advertising the appeal.
