Hi, my daughter has been offered a waiting place at Alleyns after sitting the 7+ exams. I know they over offer and it is such a popular school that I am worried that there will not be any movement on the waiting list. Does anyone have experience of being in this position. Do they know how many (if any children) get in this way each year? Do people ever give up their place once they hear about a state school place, for instance at Dulwich Hamlet? How many are on the list. We were told it was quite short but not ranked as they needed a mix of age and genders. Any info at all would be helpful. Thank you.
