Messy Play in Temple Cloud every Tuesday at 1:30 pm. There is a dedicated baby area. Health visitors are there as well if you should need them. It is also free.

I did a mum and baby yoga and baby massage class when my little one was still small.

There is also Messy Tots in Paulton, at the Scout and Guide Community Hall on a Thursday, they have a mix of older children and a section for smaller babies too.

TGIF! also in Paulton at the Holy Trinity Church [you can park in the Village Hall car park and walk around to the Church] meet on a Friday, a mix of toddlers and babies, some first time parents and some with more than one :) a relaxed and friendly group.

NCT North East Somerset have a Bumps and Babies group on a Wednesday morning at the Radstock Childrens Centre, you don't have to be a member to pop along. A group mainly for babies, with bumps and some younger tots too.

I'm sure there are a few more I am missing, but I've used all these in the past.

Bath and North East Somerset Sling Meet, which I help at, meet at the Cowtastic Playbarn on the First Thursday of each month. It's a relaxed group of parents that chat and explore babywearing. We have a sling library that compliments the group, but it's a good way to meet new mums.

Paulton Swimming Pool also do a great parent and baby swimming session, which I think is on a Tuesday AM and a Friday afternoon. Another great way to meet other mums and have some fun. It was the only way to guarantee my daughter of a much needed nap [and a mummy rest too]
