Can anyone recommend a good driving instructor?

I need to get my licence, and have finally managed to get my head into a space where I'm willing to do it.

I'm scared about driving in the city, but did have a Kiwi licence (which has now expired).

Any suggestions?

Oh yes, I also need one that can do lessons during the day (morning) as I'm going to surprise DH by getting it. He's only been gently encouraging me to do it for 6 years.

Me too! I would like to take lessons in my lunchbreak from work. There must be someone who can recommend ... please??

I have just booked with the Edinburgh Driving School. First lesson is 2 hours. I'm doing a city driving course.

I start on 25 February so will let you know how I get on! So nervous about it.

GrouchyKiwi good luck!!! I looked at their website yesterday so I'm sure it will go well :) Your nerves will hopefully turn into excitement once you get the first lesson out of the way.
