Surbiton High vs Tiffin Girls sixth form

Hello!
We are considering Surbiton High and Tiffin Girls sixth form, would appreciate any help. For example, class sizes and also if Tiffin graduates (or perhaps Surbiton High) have any advantages for entering university. My DD is thinking of Art/Math/History/Chemistry A-levels.

It's been a long time since I had direct experience of those schools. However they are apples and pears. Tiffins is a state school with state school levels of funding. Surbiton High has amazing facilites, smaller classes, but the parents have to stump up the fees. Only you know how hard it will be for your family to find the fees.

I suppose a lot depends on your daughter and what she enjoys. Having outstanding sports facilites is only important if your daughter wants to do sport. You can pay for extra curricular activities if you choose the state school option.

You are lucky to live in an area where there are lots of good sixth forms, both state and private. I suppose a lot depends on what is important to your daughter.

I am surprised to hear about lots of good state sixth forms in my area. There are many good private ones though.

We don't care to much about outstanding sport facilities.
What we do care is which of these two schools will give her best education, best A-level marks and let her enter a good university.

We are in a private secondary school now, and we thought of choosing Tiffin because our little dd (year 3) is in a state school which we don't like and want to take her to a private one. Paying two private schools is a bit too much for us. So the question is: does Surbiton High have real academic (or some other) advantages, besides such minor things as gym etc.
