Chantry School, Martley

My son is in year 5, so starting to think about secondary school options. We're in the catchment for Chantry in Martley. I've heard generally good things about it - do any of you have children at the school & would you recommend it?

Hi there, i have a son at the Chantry and think its great, def recommend.

My three boys all went to the Chantry (and the youngest on to King's afterwards). We were always very happy with the School.

Estate Agents seem to market properties as being in the Chantry catchment as a good selling point!

It's meant to be excellent as far as I know - we bought in the catchment last year - it was very hard to find a house in budget nearby! I think families cling on to their family houses in the area!

I have heard reservations about it (mostly poverty of expectation for very bright DC) but parents with DC there seem to be generally very happy, and I know DC who have gone on to achieve great things.
