Woking to Guildford at rush hour and vv

Hi everyone,
I'm moving to Woking and will be commuting to Guildford. I'm trying to figure out nurseries etc and was wondering if anyone knows how long its takes to get from Goldsworth Park to Guildford at rush hour (8amish) and then Guildford to Goldsworth Park at about 5/5:30pm ish.

In a car? I've sat in traffic from Woking to Guildford for 2 hours before. That's unusual but the traffic can be genuinely horrendous between the two on occasion. If there is any way you can get the train instead I'd do that.

Allow at least 30 mins, 45 would be a better average. Train is more reliable

It can get really snarled up in rush hour and yes I have taken over an hour a few times. The quickest would be about 30 mins I guess - really depends which bit of Guildford you are heading for. Town centre would be worse. I work on outskirts and that can be busy enough!
