Hi everyone, I have just moved locally to T wells and we are looking for schools for DS Yr2 and DD Reception. I have so far been to look at Hilden Grange and Fosse Bank and cannot decide between the 2, both very different. Do any of you have little ones at these schools, or other local schools that you could advise or recommend!! Such a tricky decision!
thanks ever so much :)

Don't really know either, and both are a bit of a trek.

Closer at hand are the Mead, Rose Hill, Holmewood, and Somerhill. Worth checking out those as well, and there is Beachwood, though I think that is Catholic if that's an issue/incentive.

Best bet is to pay a visit and see which feel right. We use Somerhill and really like it, but all of them have their +-ives...

My 3 year old went to Hilden Grange pre-school for two terms. Good school with everything you expect from an independent establishment. Our neighbor's son goes to Fosse. He is around ten. According to them, Fosse is more relaxed and that's the kind of setting they prefer for their son. So I have heard only good things about both schools. But the general impressions is that Fosse is more relaxed and easygoing than Hilden Grange. Also if i remember correctly , the output to good secondaries, is better from Hilden than Fosse. But you can confirm that with the schools.

My partner use to work at Somerhill. It's a good school, worth looking into.
