QUESTION FOR THE WEEKEND: Imaginary Friends

I'm thinking of a weekly 'question for the weekend' so here's the first one as a trial... :-)

Imaginary Friends... what's the best one you've heard of? Did you or your partner have one growing up? Do your children have them? What are your thoughts on them?

My boys all had imaginary friends at various stages. The youngest used to hold long conversations in the night with his and we were forever telling him to get to sleep! All harmless and they gre out of it eventually. Youngest son in particular loves writing stories so maybe it's all just a sign of a good imagination.
