Balham Leisure Centre is due to be refurbished soon (good) but it isn't clear whether the crèche will remain as the current plans apparently show the crèche room being used for something else entirely.
The crèche is a vital facility for lots of mums (my own DS spent many hours there a few years ago) so plans are afoot to save it.
There's a meeting about it tomorrow at Gazette in Balham at 3pm, organised by a couple of Balham mums who've asked us to spread the word.
