We know that long term post-placement support is a high priority to our adoptive families and to professionals working with children who have been looked after. Our post-adoption support is available for both the adopting family and the adopted child, and provides specialist care dealing with background issues, additional needs and the adoptive environment.
Funded by the Department for Education, The Centre for Adoption Support is a partnership project between two voluntary adoption agencies – Adoption Matters and Caritas Care.
Our 2015 Adoption Support Conference offers a chance for families and professionals to come together and explore our experiences in developing an award winning, specialist service which addresses a wide range of needs for adoptive families.
Adoptive parents will accompany most speakers, demonstrating how they have implemented the service and providing a real insight into the challenges overcome.
Places are free and available to people across the country, not just Cheshire
