Year 1 Vacancy

Hi all,

I am moving to Wandsworth from overseas in the coming summer (2015). I am to find school places for them. They will be in Year 2.

Do you know any schools currently have Year 1 vacancies?

What are the chances they can enter a good state school?

Wandsworth Borough Council would be able to tell you which school currently have vacancies but of course the picture can change quite quickly and you can only apply once you have moved to the Borough so you would be best not to rely too much on any information you are given. They will be able to tell you which are the generally 'undersubscribed' schools with places. I can think of two or three immediately. They tend to be the less 'popular' schools but that does not mean they are 'bad' schools. In truth, schools in Wandsworth generally are very good.
