Hello, first time ever posting on mumsnet so I'm a complete newbie !
We are in the early Stages of moving to Belper from Derby. Does anyone on here live there? My most important question is what are the schools like? The house we are trying to buy is very near to the Pottery Primary School, it's Ofsted rated as Good but I would love to hear from anyone who's child ( ren) go there or to any of the primary schools in Belper. My daughters 2.5 years old so there's time yet to pick one.
Also what is it like to live in Belper? The town looks nice enough, and we've been to chucklebutties playcentre a few times but that's about it.
Is it a relatively safe place to live? I did the silly thing of googling and read a couple of pages about Belper having a drugs problem?! Is this right? It's playing on my mind lots!
I really hope there's someone out there who can shed some more light on Belper and what it's like to raise a family there!
