I moved to Colchester in the summer after a promotion at work moved me to our HO here, and am now expecting my first child due 7th July.
I know it's a bit early to start thinking about meeting other people, but as DH and I don't really know anyone here, and especially don't know anyone either expecting or with young children. I'd really like to meet/chat with others nearby in a similar situation so we don't feel so "alone" for lack of a better word!
One of my friends put up a similar post in her local area a few years ago when she was expecting, and ended up with a great group of friends who still regularly see each other, and their kids have all grown up together. So hence thinking I'd try the same!
So are there any Colchester ladies (or couples) expecting around the same time as us, before/after us, or even have a baby already and fancy meeting up sometime? x
