Choosing a Secondary school for a 15 yr old.

Hi just wondered if anyone could give me any advice on choosing a secondary school. My 15 year old cousin is moving in with me she is has been living in spain. i've been looking into schools but am totally lost . any advice or reviews anyone has would be great!
