Hello mums in Berkhamsted.
we are about to move to berkhamsted, we bought the house near Bridgewater and Westfield school, unfortunately we have just found out that Bridgewater has just been downgraded to requires improvement by Ofsted.
dose anyone here know what is happening to this school? is it still no bad school? my daughter is 2 and half I believe we need to apply a nursery for her very soon, can we apply any schools in Berkhamsted? and any recommendations? sorry about too many questions, I am very new in berkhamsted (never been here before we find the house) and I know nothing about applying schools.
Hope mums here can help me.
many many thanks

Hi there.

Welcome to Berkhamsted.
Bridgewater school is going through a transition time, it changed from a middle school to a primary school last year so it has had many changes. I know many people who have children there who are really happy. My children go to Westfield and we are really pleased with it. Go and visit them all, you can apply for any of them but you do tend to be allocated your closest school in Berkhamsted as it is a very popular town for schools.

Thank you so much Freckles73
we are all at abroad at the moment and we won't be back until late of March, so I guess we will not have chance to visit any school in Berkhamsted before the Deadline of The Application, I am going to put Westfield as the first choice then Bridgewater as 2nd, any recommendation for the 3rd and 4th school?
thank you so much again :)
