Violin Lessons

Can anyone recommend a violin teacher for my daughter who would be an absolute beginner. I have got a list from the music shop but it's very long and I have no idea if they are any good.

I am guessing you have checked whether her school offer instrument lessons?
Some schools do host music teachers and allow pupils out of class for paid lessons.

Yes I have and there is a massive waiting list. That would have been my preferred option. Thought I would get someone else in the meantime at least and see how she gets on.

DS1 started from scratch last term and I think his teacher takes private pupils as well as through schools. Will PM you her details.

Dd was with stringmoves for a few years. It's more than just a half an hour lesson, they have group playing, choir, one-to-one lessons, theory, etc. It's the whole Saturday morning and it's expensive but if you it might be right for your dd they're really good.
