Thinking of volunteering at a foodbank. Can't believe we've got to the point as a nation where so many people are hungry.
Used to volunteer in soup kitchen in Glasgow when I lived there, so think it will be similar in some ways, different in others. Any advice on what to expect/offer to do?
Have had a look online and there are quite a few in Edinburgh. I'm based pretty centrally so location doesn't really narrow it down. Any recommendations on which one to approach would also be welcome, as I'm a bit paralysed by choice here and don't know anyone personally who volunteers at one.
