Advice on schools in Beaconsfield

We have recently moved to the area and are currently doing school applications. I am still unsure of my choices out of Holtspur, St Marys and Butler Courts. Obviously I can go on look and feel, I have also had a look at results etc (although I think it is misleading - St Marys is an outstanding school but has a poorer 11 plus pass rate than the others which doesnt make sense). I know it recently went from a one to two class intake - has this affected their results and their overall performance as a school?

I would love to hear from any local mums on their views - whether you have children attending, currently doing applications it would be great to hear from you.

Thanks

Hi TNM, it's a shame this didn't get any replies as I'm keen to understand more about this too. Where did you find info about the 11+ pass rate?
Did you submit your application? I had trouble filling in all 4 spaces as I wasn't aware of more than 3 schools in the area.

Hi

I am still trying to get some information about primary schools in the area - I hear lots of people rave about Butlers Court and also Holtspur but not so much St Mary's - can anyone give me any more info on St Mary's? Thanks

Hiya - a bit late but better late than never! Having worked at High March (all girls private school in beaconsfield) my experience is that Butlers Court is the best. I know of families that have deliberately moved just to be in catchment of it to get their LO in. High March has a nursery and we have lost several children due to them getting into Butlers Court.
Hope this helps!

Oh! Also, I have heard Holtspur is excellent for children with additional needs. Haven't ever heard good things about St Mary's
