Fulham Aircraft Noise?

Hi all,
We just moved to the UK and we are thinking about living in Fulham. We really like the area.
Today somebody told us that the aircraft noise is pretty bad in Fulham. Is this true, how bad is it really? Any specific areas to avoid?
When we visited Fulham, we did not notice any noise... So just wondering!
Thanks very much in advance!

I live in Fulhan and don't have a problem with the noise. It's not that bad.

I live in Fulham and love it - close to town, a lot of parks for kids, etc. But, the aircraft noise is quite bad (we got used to it but our visitors sometimes wonder how we can put up with it). If I would choose again, I would pick an area with parks, good schools and good transport to work (needless to say, getting on tube in peak hours from Parsons Green can be a challenge). Good luck. Agree with what Marhanna says.

Most people get used to it. I am very noise sensitive and just about got used to it after a year or so.

Also worth noting, the flight path changes every few days (not sure whether it is on a rotation schedule or whether this is due to wind direction) so the planes aren't always coming over Fulham.

All in all it is a lovely area, but as Marhanna says the tube line can be a total pain, particularly in rush hour (which doesn't just last an hour)!
