Psychotherapy observations in Nottingham

I have just moved to Notts, and am working p/t as a nanny. I'm about to begin a four year training to become a parent-infant psychotherapist with the School of Infant Mental Health (www.infantmentalhealth.com). A vital part of my training is to observe a mother and newborn (or expectant mother an later her and her newborn) for one hour a week on a Weds on a long term basis. This is to better my understanding of early years development and parent-infant relationships.

As I've just moved to Notts and don't know anyone I'm finding it hard to arrange these observations! If anyone might be able to help I would be so grateful. I have a full CRB check and can provide further info to anyone who may be willing to help. If you think you may be able to help please comment. Thanks!!

Hi,

Sorry you haven't had many responses, do you still need someone to observe? I can tweet your request to reach a few more people.

Otherwise, have you thought of contacting one of the 'bumps and babies' groups run by NCT or various pubs? Here (scroll all the way down) [http://local.mumsnet.com/nottingham/baby-toddler-groups Bumps, Babies and Toddlers]]
