Hi all,
If everything goes to plan, we should be moving to SW by the summer. I have EVERYTHING crossed jobs etc all come off as I love the place and have long since got tired with the expense/crush/general grub of Sarf London.

One big worry though is getting a school place as DS is already in reception. I have heard that more houses have been built in SW than can be accommodated in schools. Can anyone shed any light on this or give tips? I have had a look at some of the older threads which were v helpful but I can see some of these houses are just starting to come on the market, so I hope no one minds me posting this now.

Sw is lovely but a lot of the schools are full and they're building more houses without the schools is what most local people feel. Some of the schools are increasing their intake from 2017 but I'd say it depends which school you are looking at. It's a lovely area and a space might open up but best to speak directly to the schools. All the primaries are very good. My older two are in reception and year 1.
