Private Midwives?

Hi,

I am wondering if there are any private maternity units / wards / birthing options / midwives in Tunbridge Wells, or near by? Anyone have any information about anything like this? I have been searching, but to no avail. Does Pembury Hospital have private Maternity section?

I wouldn't recommend private. If anything goes wrong with you or the baby you want to be where the facilities ie a proper hospital. My baby unexpectedly ended up in intensive care when delivered and you just don't get those units or the same number of experts in a private hospital. You can often pay for a private room though for afterwards
