nursery prices around New Haw

We finally got an offer accepted on a house in New Haw.
I started looking at nursery prices for my 11 months old.
Would you believe that I pay £38 a day here in Wales for a full day 8am-6pm ? All the nurseries I've contacted in New Haw are around £60-£70 !! So expensive as I'm not getting any pay rise (I work from home) with the move. Does anyone have any suggestions ? Would a childminder work out cheaper ? it's the same price in Wales. Thanks !

Hello, if you wanted to look into childminders or other options, this may help:

Good luck with it all Smile

A childminder may work out a little cheaper but probably not by much. Childminders in this area usually charge between £5 - £6 per hour. You would usually supply your own nappies etc. Some include food but not all. I'm not sure what the nurseries include.

There's a free nursery in Chertsey Chertsey nursery it may be worth applying although a full time place is only 9-2 but it may cut back in childminder fees
