Accountant or tax advisor needed!

Hello!

I'm filling out my first self-assessment tax return (ouch!) and am looking for a local accountant to run through a couple of things. There are loads of biggish companies in the area, but all I'm after is an hour or so with someone who knows a little more about these things than I do - for not too much money! I'm sure there are plenty of self-employed mums in the Harpenden area, so all recommendations welcome!

Hi, I'm afraid I can't help, but if you find someone I'd like some advice too please. Don't see the point of going to any of the company ones, as we only need about an hour's worth or less. :)

@LilyKate1 - I haven't managed yet, but will let you know if I do find someone! :)

I've used Sarah Harrison, she's great and explains things well.
