Hiya. Moved to Bristol 6 months ago , we have lived in lots of places, London, Oxford, Canterbury , St albans etc but hubbie originally from Bristol, we work for ourselves and from home. I live in Henleaze , westbury pk side, nice and handy for Waitrose! Would really like to meet some new people to make friends with locally up this side of Bristol. Anyone have any suggestions of any groups etc that are good to join, book clubs, etc, mixed ages as I'm a young 52. Work in music so I'm not ready for WI etc , I'm sociable and friendly but a bit lost as to what's out there that doesn't involve toddlers. I gave a 16 year old son at NB post 16 ( and he's hard going) so a bit of light relief would be welcome.
