Scouts/cubs/beavers in Sale

Hi there - I'm looking for a scout group in Sale. It looks like there are quite a few to choose from and I was wondering if anyone had experience of any of them, ones to avoid etc?

Hi and welcome to the Cheshire pages. I am not in Sale so can't help you with any on the ground knowledge I'm afraid, but I will tweet out the request for you @mumsnetcheshire

I am also a Beaver leader and all leaders of groups go through the same CRB checks and must complete several modules of training before starting as leaders. Scouting in Cheshire is very popular indeed and many groups have waiting lists so it may be a case of who has space available.

Thanks! I've found a few, but based on experience of other groups etc I know there can be a huge variation in the activities etc. Happy to join a waiting list if necessary :-)
