Would anyone be interested in getting their toddler group involved in the Banardo's Toddle to help raise money for both the charity and your group?
In simple terms it is a little fundraising event aimed at the under 5’s which raises funds not only for the charity but for the organisation that holds the event as well. The idea is that the children are sponsored by family and friends to take part in a short walk with any added fun elements the organisation cares to employ – for instance a simple obstacle course, movement to music, general fancy dress or maybe a themed idea (we have a theme each year which can be used – it’s space for 2014 – but it maybe that snowflakes or a Christmas theme would be better considering the time of year we are in!). The Toddle normally finishes with drinks and biscuits and all children enrolled will receive a pack in advance and a medal at the end. It is easy to organise and lots of fun! The organisation running the toddle will be able to keep up to 25% of the money raised meaning they can help Barnardo’s while meeting their own fundraising needs.
