Good hospitals near Canary Wharf?

Hi - Im new to Mumsnet and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good hospital near Canary Wharf where the maternity services are excellent?

I personally used the Royal London Hospital and was happy with all midwifes and the doctor, who were great help during and after the labour. My son was born unconscious (in fact, it looks really scary in reality) and they all reacted really quickly, did CPR, monitored us closely by the time we left.

There are some very conflicting reviews about Royal London, but I think in summary what I concluded was that: individual care post-birth and while in labour can be lacking, but if things go wrong they are pretty much the best you can have in the country.

Personally I had a very good experience there. They have private rooms which can be hired at around £100 per night (but no guarantee of availability).

The Barkantine is good, although it's a birth centre, not a hospital.
