Hi everyone,

I was hoping to get some advice on local nurseries in Highgate/Muswell Hill/ Crouch end

We are currently due to visit Active nursery in Crouch end and Bright Horizons in Kentish Town.
My son is 21 month at present, I want him to start nursery in January 2015. Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Highgate.
If you mean Active Learning in Crouch End. I'd suggest asking about Staff Turnover. My daughter went there and the staff were young and changed all the time. Not a good thing. However that was a good few years ago, so things may have changed.

If you are stuck for alternative ideas have a look at the nurseries section:
local.mumsnet.com/camden/nurseries

And on the Haringey site here:

Hi,
I'm not sure if they will have space, but Starshine is a firm favourite in Crouch End. They have been around for years, the staff are fabulous and clearly love their job as most of them have been there 10 years or more.

My son is there and he loves it.

If you're still looking, I suggest you consider the Maria Montessori School at Hornsey Rise: www.mariamontessori.org.
