Recently took my little girl (3 yrs) for her first haircut at Headmasters in Twickenham as they said they did kids haircuts. Had a terrible terrible experience. I asked for a shoulder length bob- didn't think that'd be too complicated, she cut a weird in step into the back of her hair at the hair line far too short, then said she couldn't do a straight bob now. She also said that the way she cut the back I'd need to use a round brush and turn it under when I blow dried it! I had to explain that you don't style a three year olds hair! And in any case I'd already told her she's scared of hair dryers!! It was clear that she had absolutely no clue as to what she was doing, made a total mess of her hair as she ended up with a cheek length wonky graduated mess, which was just before I had baby no 2 so it looks terrible in all the photos. Thought I should warn local mums.
