Where to find out about baby groups?

Does anyone know if there's a list of what groups are on in Cambridge and villages? I've found saveoursanity.org which is Huntingdon-based, but the distance is a bit far for many of them.

I'm really struggling with finding things to do, but DD is 15 weeks and getting nosier and more easily bored, so I'd like to take her out and about! We went to rhymetime at Cambridge library yesterday, which she really loved - these drop-in rather than booked courses really suit us.

I assume the children's centres around do groups, but I can't for the life of me find any info about what and when they are.

Any help very gratefully received!

Get in touch with your local children centres, they usually have activities for babies and toddlers.

There are also toddler groups at Eden chapel (near the Grafton Centre Mon & Tues 10-1130), bounce around at st andrews near lion yard (weds 10-12I5), St Luke's in Victoria Road (Fri 930-11)

Thank you :)

Han, the children's centre website info is just awful, isn't it? As far as I can see, all of them say "we have lots of activities" but don't list what or when they are. So frustrating! Ringing them would probably work, if it weren't for the fact that there are at least five CCs near me and the amount of info from each would hopefully be rather large.

I'm guessing no-one knows of a collated online list similar to saveoursanity, then? That one is brilliant as it has information from lots of different organisations.

If you go onto the individual children's centres there is a option to see a list of activities available. The website is a lot more difficult to negotiate then the old one. It's probably all due to budget cuts which is a shame as the activities j have used are quite good. I've used this website before www.cambridgeshire.net/search/Results.aspx?searchText=children&searchType=Event,Activity,Organisation,Course,News&Category=Childrens+activities&location=Cambridge&distance=10 but you often have to check if things are still running. It's such a shame things are so difficult to find as there is so much you can do in Cambridge.
