Primary Schools in Hove

Hi, I'm moving to the area and wondered if anyone had any thoughts & opinions on the "better" primary, infants or junior schools in the area. Thanks!

Hi. I have friends with kids in a few of the schools in hove. Any in particular you are thinking about? Have the council given you an indication of where spaces might be or are you still in the planning stages of your move?
FWIW as I understand it central Hove is tight for places so your options may be limited if it's an in year transfer.
Personally I would be looking at West Hove, everyone I know with kids there raves about it but you do have to live v.close and they are in the process of building new flats directly across the road from it so I would guess its catchment will shrink even further in next year.
